Zipper Wired Accessories
Used in conjunction with ZIPPER Wired, this unit provides an acoustic warning to the cabin occupant, whenever ZIPPER is opened. In addition, this unit also provides 2 individual signal wires, addressing telematics devices that are equipped with inverted logic inputs.
SAFETYAs a safety device, ZIPPER guarantees that the fuel tank is always closed when a refueling pistol is not inserted into the tank, therefore replacing the standard fuel cap. The sliding, spring loaded cap quickly returns to it’s closed position as soon as the pistol nozzle is extracted after refueling operations have taken place. This feature ensures there is no spillage of fuel during travel or even in the in-adverted case of the vehicle leaving it’s upright position.
CONTROLCONTROL is delegated to ZIPPER’s on board electronics and intelligent firmware. It is possible for ZIPPER can warn a local or remote operator of any operations involving opening, closing or refueling, the characteristics of which could indicate un-authorised tampering or fuel theft activities. Such benefits are achieved by interfacing ZIPPER as a periferal device to the on board telematics hardware. These functions need to be specifically addressed through a simple integration process.

WIREDUses a physical connection to interface with and activate electrical or electronic accessories. Requires cable runs to be laid and connections are left to the discretion of the specialized installer, based on the equipment which is being integrated, and the current requirements which the installation must comply with.
